Good News for Ecto Holders and Future FoW Buyers
Yes, I just got done with a FoW run with LBS, and needless to say, I used my ele. I got a pic of all the NEW sets and materials required, so Assassin and Ritualist FoW is also available, so ectos and shards are NOT worthless, if anything, they are worth more now. Cheers. Here is the pic!

Nor can I, but I am just happy my 87 ecto and 74 shards are not worthless, and that ritualist armor will be mine. I am going to buy more ecto and shards while everyone is in a panic and selling them for nothing atm.

I'll take Assassin ro Ritualist fissure anyway, it's just like getitng Canthan armor but without the soon to be the inflationary canthan material prices.

Most likely therefore the prices of Ecto's and Shards will go up slightly, but I don't see them going back to being 12K each or anything stupid.
As a lot of people will still wan the new armors. So everyone is a winner!
At the moment the average price for an ecto is 6K, which I think is fair.

I'd guess the price will peak to about 8K, but hopefully will remain the 6.5K average it is at the moment. A lot of sellers continue to try and drive up the price.
I've been buying ectos at 6K for weeks now, hope it remains that way.

As I checked prices of ectos, they slightly decreased this morning. Merchants prieces are currently:
Sell: 6k
Buy: 4.7k
It's late morning in europe, the prices usually are a bit lower then then at the rest of the day. But they never were that low. Hope that doesn't mean they decrease to a lower level permanently. Also realized that rubies and sapphires went up a good amount. They are now around following merchant prices:
Buy: 6k
Sell: 8k
I know this question must have been asked several times:
Is there a comparable armor to the obsidian armor in factions, which you have to pay rubies and sapphires for?
Thx in advance,

They will go up, 2 new classes that people will want FoW for, as well as pieces of new armour people will buy for their existing characters.

Well, I guessed that one wrong...oh well
I agree with everyone that once people find out, Ecto should start to climb in price.

I know what you mean. I jade/amber are like the iron ingots/cloth/etc of factions armor.
